In my series of detailed close-up photographs and digital transformations of flowers, I seek to preserve and examine the fragility that often goes unnoticed in our everyday encounters with nature. Each image seeks to capture and amplify the delicate textures, vibrant colors, and subtle variations that define these wonders.

By shooting them at extremely high resolution and enlarging them exponentially beyond their actual size, I aim to engage in an intimate dialogue with the natural world, inviting the viewer to do likewise, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the natural artistry embedded in each petal and stamen.

Through the lens and sensor, I hope to preserve for deeper scrutiny things which can often only exist for a week, or even a single afternoon, offering ongoing opportunities to meditate on the ephemeral.
